Responsibilities:
The Director of Perioperative Services will work Regular Full-Time Days and is responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing and managing operating systems, operational standardization, service standards, processes, approaches, communication methods and policies which yield an effective, efficient integrated and standard approach to the delivery of Perioperative Services across the Bassett Healthcare Network (BHN) and in support of BHNs Mission, Vision, and Values as well as system business objectives.
This encompasses the Operating Room (OR), Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Outpatient Care Unit (OPCU), Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU), Procedure Room (PR) and Central Sterile Processing (SPD).
The Director of Perioperative Services will collaborate with the BHN Network Medical Director of Perioperative Services, Chief Health Executives (CHE), Chief(s) of Service (Surgery, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Anesthesia, and Womens Health), the Regional CNOs of Nursing and both the VP of Operations Bassett Medical Center (BMC) and the Bassett Medical Group (BMG).
As a Director of Perioperative Services, your work includes but is not limited to, coordination of program development, goals, implementation strategies, new surgeon orientation, Perioperative integration, comprehensive operative plan development, and affiliate surgical programs in accordance with New York State and federal regulations as well as hospital policies and procedures established standards for Perioperative practice and regulatory and accreditation requirements.
In this capacity, the Director of Perioperative Services will ensure optimal utilization of network resources through participation in planning capital and operational budgets, in development and implementation of systems and practices that achieve defined objectives, in internal and external benchmarking activities and in monitoring, analysis and resolution of budget and productivity variances.

Education/
Experience:
Bachelors degree in Nursing required MBA OR Masters degree in Nursing OR healthcare related field preferred.
Ten years of progressive leadership experience and current Masters degree enrollment, with completion of degree within two years of start date, accepted in lieu of degree completion upon hire.
Five years of Management level experience Three years experience in project management Three years experience leading people (direct and indirect leadership roles); demonstrated people development results Three years experience working in matrixed environment with demonstrated assertiveness, conflict resolutions, negotiation and collaboration preferred Current NYS License as a Registered Nurse OR eligibility.
CNOR certification is required OR must be obtained within 6 months.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
