Physician Recruitment Assistant

Under the general supervision of the Manager of Medical Staff Recruitment (MSR), the Physician Recruitment Assistant provides support in the areas of physician and advanced practice clinician recruitment, onboarding, employment and retention of our medical staff, Visa's and loan repayment. The primary objective is to support an effective and efficient physician recruitment team. Strong service skills are essential to represent Bassett and Medical Staff Recruitment to our applicants, leaders and employees. Professional interactions both on the phone and in person are essential to providing high-quality support services and communication in order to maintain efficient and productive operation of the recruitment office of Medical Staff Recruitment. In addition, accurate and proficient reporting and maintenance of the recruitment database and reports are required.
Minimum Requirements:
Associates degree required
High school diploma or equivalent with an additional 2 years of experience listed below may be considered
3 years of administrative support or business office experience required
Experience in a high public contact position or extensive customer service required
Ability to work with and around confidential information.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and time management/prioritization skills.
Must have the ability to multitask, work independently and be comfortable having difficult conversations.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and be willing to learn other software programs such as Adobe Acrobat and Talent Acquisition.
Must be proficient and comfortable with heavy data entry.
Must be able to follow workflow processes and accurately update the process as well as work with contracts, reports and requisitions.
Physical Requirements:
Position involves extensive computer and phone work. In addition, long periods of sitting in a busy office setting with frequent public contact are required. Routine walking of candidates around the Bassett campus is required. There is some heavy lifting required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
