Unit Description
Sodexo is looking for a Patient Service Manager 1 in Cooperstown, NY
Bassett Medical Center is a 180 bed rural Teaching Hospital situated in the beautiful, quaint, town of Cooperstown, New York. Bassett is the largest hospital in a five hospital network covering 8 counties, and 5,000 square miles with 27 clinics and 50 school based health clinics in the network. Affiliated with Columbia University the hospital is a heath institute with continuous classes of residents from around the world.The unit use "Expressly For You" as its tray delivery system, and has an extensive in-house catering program. The hospital is also located 3 blocks from the "Baseball Hall of Fame" which draws 100's of thousands of fans a year for visits, as a result the hospital is a very busy operation. Sodexo in addition to food and nutrition, also managers Environmental Services, Linen department and Vending.
The ideal candidate :
The successful candidate will also be involved in the management and training of staff and food quality. Must have strong customer service skills.

Position Summary
Provides direction for patient meal services at patient care units to ensure customer satisfaction and retention for the Company.
Key Duties
- Directs daily operations of patient meal services at patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.
- Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.
- Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.
- Performs audits and prepares reports
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
