Summary:
The Administrative Supervisor provides consistent on-site administrative coverage for the hospital and is responsible for coordinating the operations of the hospital on his/her assigned shift. Is responsible for coordinating patient placement consistent with care needs and resources, staffing reallocations and patient flow, accepting all patients meeting our capacity criteria. Assists with direct and indirect care as needed. Functions as a consultant and educator for all inpatient staff including Nursing, ED, Bed Management, Laboratory, Radiology and Pharmacy. Supervises the shift Staffing Assistant, providing direction as needed. Functions as the on-site administrator, addressing patient and staff complaints, media inquires and emergency preparedness.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Education equivalent experience:
BS degree or completion within one year from date of hire Masters degree in healthcare related field with an additional 2 years of experience may be considered.
Other information:
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in nursing beginning at the staff nurse level with assumption of positions of increasing responsibility

Basic Life Support
RN License

Demonstrates competency in required basic care skills
Ability to precept and mentor other staff members

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
